Privacy policy
SilaiBook is order management for tailor shops. This page says what we keep, why, and who can see it.
Two kinds of people
Shop staff sign in to run a tailor shop. Customers of a shop have their details entered by that shop. The shop decides whom to serve and what to enter. SilaiBook provides the system the shop uses.
What is stored

Each shop is separate
One shop cannot see another shop’s data. This is enforced in the database itself, not only on the screens.
The customer tracking page
A customer who has an order link sees the first name, shop name and phone, order number, stage, due date, items, total, paid and balance. It never shows a surname, phone number, notes or measurements. Search engines are told not to index it. Anyone who holds the link can open it, so the shop can renew or switch off a link, and it closes when an order is cancelled or the customer is erased.
Your rights
- Erase: the shop owner can erase a customer’s personal data (name, phone, notes and measurements). Orders stay in the shop’s accounts as “Erased customer”. This is refused while the customer has orders in progress and cannot be undone.
- Copy: the owner can export customers, orders and payments.
- Correction: the owner or counter can edit a customer’s details at any time.
- If you are a customer, ask the shop. The shop controls your data in SilaiBook.
Staff accounts
An owner can switch a staff account off, so that person can no longer sign in or see anything, and can reset their PIN. Switching off keeps the work history.
Who else handles data
- Supabase provides the database and sign-in, hosted in Mumbai, India.
- Vercel hosts the website and app.
- WhatsApp receives only what staff choose to send from their own phone.
No tracking
SilaiBook uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and sets no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own site. The app stores your sign-in and language choice on your device so that it works.
Retention
Nothing is deleted automatically. A shop decides how long to keep old orders and customers, and can erase a customer at any time as described above.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
