Terms of use
Plain terms for using SilaiBook. By creating a shop or signing in, you agree to them.
The service
SilaiBook is a free web and mobile app that helps tailor shops manage orders, measurements, delivery dates and payments records. We may change, add or remove features, and we will try to give notice of big changes.
Your account
- Use your own mobile number and keep your PIN private. Anything done with your PIN is treated as done by you.
- A mobile number belongs to one shop.
- The shop owner is responsible for the staff they add, what they are allowed to see, and the accuracy of what is entered.
Your data
The customer and order data you enter belongs to your shop. You must have a proper reason to hold it, and you are responsible for how you use it, including any messages you send to customers. See the privacy policy for how we handle it, and how to erase a customer’s data.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to break in, overload the service, or look at another shop’s data.
- Do not use SilaiBook for anything unlawful, or to send spam.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
Records, not accounting advice
SilaiBook keeps a record of orders and payments you enter. It is not an accounting, tax or legal tool, and it does not calculate GST. Keep your own records as the law requires.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never have errors or downtime. Keep your own copies of anything important; owners can export their data from the Reports tab. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or business losses from using the service.
Ending use
You can stop using SilaiBook at any time. We may end the service or your access, and will try to give notice where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use SilaiBook after that means you accept them.
